Mae Winne
Des Moines - Mae Natalie Winne was born on May 22, 1922 and left us on August 8, 2018. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Mae was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends.
Mae travelled all over the world in her years with her husband prior to his retirement from the Army. She enjoyed reading and was known to love the sound of those one-armed bandits at the casino. Mae will be missed by all those who had the good fortune to have known her.
Mae was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Clyde I. Winne and her daughter Barbara Jean Winne. Mae is survived by her sons Larry Winne, Dennis Winne and her daughters Marsha Alsager and Debbie Winne. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeff Winne, Derek Winne, and Melissa Jensen as well as seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 10 a.m.-Noon at Brooks South Town Chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

With whom will I share my most inner thoughts now that you are gone? To whom can I share my secrets? I will miss you more than you know. Love, Mike.

Sorry for your loss Deb & Dennis. I did not know your sister Barb had passed also. Remember all the good time. We had a lot of fun gambling also, now I know where you two got the bug. Take care. Your Friend Jan Boozell
