Althea "Sally" Robinson
Urbandale
Sally Robinson, 101, went to be with the Lord Jesus February 2, 2014. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Sally was born October 18, 1912 in Kent, IA to Frederick and Dora Clough. She graduated from a one room school and attended college after graduation. She married Roderic Williams and to this union three children were born. Years after his death, she married William Robinson. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sally loved the Lord, her family, the Iowa Hawkeyes and Lawrence Welk. She was proud to live on her own until her late 90's.
Sally is survived by daughters, Patty Noble and Peggy Rhiner; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; brother, Alivon (Dorothy) Clough; step-sons, Jack Robinson and Bill Robinson Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; son, Buddy (Ginger) Williams; sisters, Aleata Weeda and Gene Larimer; son-in-law, Howard Rhiner; one grandson; and two great grandchildren.

Did not know Sally well but thought about her often. I have lived in her old house since 1988 and still do. She seemed like a real spitfire type of gal. Sorry for your loss

"Grandmama" Always in my "Heart" ... As you said .. on Christmas eve, you love me "More" I say I Loved You More too!!! You tap my nose with a smile ... saying I love you. I miss you so much. Your Beloved Granddaughter :o)
