Randy Snider, 51, died unexpectedly at his home Monday, April 22, 2013.
Randy was born October 4, 1961 in Des Moines to Rosalie and Ronald Snider. He enjoyed all sports and was a season ticket holder for the Kansas City Chiefs for over 20 years. Randy liked to travel and enjoyed cruises. He loved gambling and golfing. He collected sports memorabilia and was a fantasy sports enthusiast. Randy was employed by Color FX as a printer. He also ran R & B Sports Treasures for three years. Above all, Randy loved his family and extended family. He loved life and his infectious laugh will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with a visitation for two hours prior to the service.
Randy is survived by his wife, Pauline Snider; children, Sherry (Harry) Jeffries, Dan Davis, Jocelyn (Matt) Fry and Justin (Trisha) Snider; mother, Rosalie (Jack) Orrell; stepmother, Marian Snider; brothers, Ron and Rick Snider; stepsisters and sister-in-law, Lisa Clark, Leanne Condray and Mercy Derry; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Snider; daughter, Carrie "Cookie" Theil; and stepbrother, Jay Derry.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Randy.
