Robert Thompson Obituary
Johnston - Robert Thompson, 90, passed away October 11, 2019 at Bishop Drumm in Johnston. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time at McLaren's. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Blessman Ministries.

Bob was a special friend to me. His deceased wife Lela died on March 7, 2009, exactly one year after my wife Yvonne died. We had dined together as a foursome and loved their company. Bob and I decided to keep our friendship alive by meeting once a month at the various food buffets. I am sorry he has passed, but he was a good man, and I can only hope the four of us can dine together in Heaven with all of our loved ones.
