I wish to express my condolences to the Winkelman family. Bill and I were classmates at Iowa State University in '50's. I always enjoyed the chariots races at the Ia. St. Fair put on by Bill and his Dad. Also, I used to listen to his comments as a legislator carried on WHO as I traveled the back roads of Iowa. He was a pure Iowan through and through. Good guy.
