Lady Lake - On December 23, 2018 Kevin Louis Kleinschrodt, age 61, went to be with the lord. Kevin died from natural causes following an automobile accident. Kevin was most recently a resident of Lady Lake, Florida.

Kevin Kleinschrodt was born on October 30, 1957 in Dubuque, Iowa to Robert Kleinschrodt and Charlotte Jones. He spent his younger years in Dubuque and moved to Des Moines in his teens. He graduated from Urbandale High School and later graduated from the National Electronics Institute with an associate degree in Electronics Engineering. Kevin went on to have 3 children: Seth Robert, Barbara Dee, and Kiara Lynn. Kevin spent his final years in Florida raising his youngest daughter and spending time with his grandchildren. Kevin was a lifelong supporter and passionate fan of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, holding football season tickets for 20 years. Kevin also was proud to recall his service as a scoutmaster for Troop 96 located in Urbandale, IA. He loved fishing, science fiction media, mechanical work and electronic repair. Kevin had a great sense of humor, was always willing to help, and had an uncanny knack for being able fix anything with a cord or motor. He will be missed by many.

Kevin was proceeded in death by his father Robert Kleinschrodt, his mother Charlotte Jones and sister Karen Kleinschrodt. Kevin is survived by his sister Kim Pendergast, his brother Rich Schmadeke, his son Seth (Danielle) Kleinschrodt, his daughters Barbara Kleinschrodt and Kiara Kleinschrodt, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Dubuque, Iowa at a date yet to be determined
