I only knew Karen as a customer at the toy store I worked at, Creative Kidstuff. Karen was always such a joy to work with as we helped her select and purchase the gifts she would give to her grandchildren and others. She spoke freely to us of her illness and all of us at the store thought she was a strong and brave person in a very softspoken and gentle way. We have thought of Karen often after our store closed, and know she has a place in heaven. We were blessed to know her and wish you and your family peace.

Karen was a beautiful person, inside and out and was a constant reflection of the love of Christ. She always had a smile on her face, and was always an encouragent to me. Even though Neil and I can't imagine the void in your lives, or the ache in your hearts, we know she is rejoicing in heaven and will forever be a part of each of your lives with every special memory you have of time spent with her; Her love of God and family was always shining through. I am so blessed to have had her in my life & honored to call her a friend. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Sue & Neil Graber

Gene and family, I was so sad to learn of Karen's passing. What a wonderful witness for Christ. She didn't have to say a word but just to receive her beautiful smile, I felt the love of the Lord. I enjoyed working with her at SOTV and truly I know of no better witness in her faith than Karen. May God's peace be with you all. Barbara Lorimor, Austin, TX

Pastor Krueger and family,
We're sending our thoughts, prayers and sympathy to you and your family. Karen was one of the first people who welcomed us to the church and her face always lit up when she saw or spoke of all the little kids! She was a beautiful lady, a very helpful and kind soul and someone who loved her family! She will be missed. God needed her in Heaven and I hope you treasure her through your stories and memories.
Sincerely,
Billie and Darin Bergmann and family
