Kevin R. Scott, formally of West Des Moines, passed away on February 2 in Morganfield. He was born on November 4, 1963 in West Des Moines, and graduated from Valley High School in 1981. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served on the USS New Jersey, BB-62, as a Fire Control Technician. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Scott. He is survived by his wife, Tammy, twin daughters, Carolyn and Judy Scott, father, Ralph Scott of West Des Moines, sisters, Debra [ Gary] Heller, Karen [ Bill] Robertson, Sue [ Bill] Hoffman, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Services and interment will be handled by McLarens Resthaven Chapel and Mortuary at a later date.
