Rosemary L. Sposeto

Des Moines

Rosemary L. Sposeto passed away peacefully on May 8, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born in Des Moines and spent most of her life on the south side amongst her large Italian family. She attended Lincoln High School and worked in the insurance industry until retirement. She loved her weekly poker games, taping soap operas on VHS and never watching them, collecting old TV guides, National Enquire and movie magazines. She loved watching golf, but never played. She never got the joke, but always laughed. She loved to hide money but never remembered where it was.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Dominic; her son, Dominic and his wife, Kitty; daughter, Gina (Mamone); six grandchildren, Nic and his wife, Marissa, Andy, Ryan, Emily, Monica and Allie; one great-grandchild, Olivia; and her brother, Vincent.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 4-7pm at Tonini Funeral Home, 2135 SW 9th St., Des Moines, IA 50315.

Mickey - Our condolences to you. We remember when you and Rosemary invited us for dinner probably 63 years ago during the Montgomery Ward days. Such a lovely lady. We have been in Sarasota, Florida for 46 years. Thinking of you and your family.
