Velma Boykin Obituary
Velma Jeanne Boykin passed away on March 17, 2020. A visitation is planned Friday March 27, 2020 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm at Henderson's Highland Park Funeral Home. Family will be present from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30, with interment following at Glendale Cemetery. (Following the CDC guidelines and Governors moratorium on gatherings.) Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jonetta McCutchen, John Cameron Jr.; brother, Albert Dawson; 6 grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and close friends. Aunt Velma, ur light surrounds us n the mornings, middle of the days, an the late nights, letting us know that u r always watching over each an everyone if us.
Good or bad u had welcomed anyone who needed a hug....
Now I light a candle 4 u to sit next to my daughter Phyllisha Ronnetta Kay Duncan an my GrandFather Matt Dawson an plenty more.., Thank u Aunt Velma 4 sharing ur love, life, and wisdom with us all.
I will always love you.
P.S. can u give my Grampa an Daughter a hug 4 me? Thank you
