Jeffrey Jackson Obituary
Winterset - Jeffrey Jackson, 55, of Winterset, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 21, 2021 at New Bridge Church in Winterset. Burial will take place in the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Jeff was born on June 1st, 1965 to Robert and Sandra (Mullenberg) Jackson in Storm Lake, Iowa. He married Wendi Soroka on December 23rd, 1994 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Jeff was a selfless and passionate man that cared deeply about everyone that he came into contact with. He was highly involved with his church helping out wherever he could. He was also a very proud father and loved his kids more than anything in the world.
Jeff enjoyed spending time drag racing, working on cars and shooting guns. Jeff also enjoyed the outdoors; going hunting, fishing and boating whenever he had the chance.
Jeff was the bright light in every situation. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his step-father, George Mickesh; paternal grandparents, Edward and Lillian Jackson; and maternal grandparents, Robert Mullenberg and Bonnie Urban.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wendi; son, Kyle Jackson; daughter, Bailey Jackson; father, Robert (Sue) Jackson; mother, Sandra Mickesh; brother, Danny (Stacey) Jackson; and sisters, Elizabeth (Wes) Wesley, and Patty Jackson.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.

Jeff was one of the most amazing people I have ever known. He was an incredible husband to my Cousin Wendy and an unbelievable father to Bailey and Kyle. He was passionate about all he did and never thought twice about putting himself out to help others in need. I will miss never being able to call Jeff and chat about our passions and concerns. He will be sorely missed and we all love you brother.
