VERNA MAE REIF

84, a resident of the suburban Detroit area from 1945-1990, died March 14, 2004 in New Port Richey, FL, where she retired in 1990. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Born in Warrensville, NC, she married Wallace H. Reif in 1945 and moved to MI, first living in Ferndale, and later in Royal Oak. Wallace, who worked for Grand Trunk Western Railroad, died in 1972. Surviving are her four children Wanda, of Washington, DC; Larry, of Parker, CO; Cheryl Labadie, of Rowlett, TX; and Kevin, of Gilbert, AZ. Also, two grandchildren, Marshall Labadie, of Whitmore Lake, MI, and Krista Reif, of Gilbert, AZ. Funeral and burial will be on Saturday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Roseland Park Cemetery, 29001 Woodward Avenue, Berkley, Michigan.
