Dear Jim - so very sorry to read of your mom's passing. She was a shining light to all who knew her during the "golden era" of St. Sylvester Parish. Sorry not to be able to extend my sympathy in person.

Marge, Marge, Marge--where does one begin? She was a neighbor on both Georgia in Detroit and on Lorraine in Warren. Raising a family, active with the ladies at St. Sylvester Church, chairperson at elections at Crothers School and running the St. Mary's Retreat House bingo every year--and who knows what more in between. Always friendly and smiling (and a voice that could cut butter). I sometimes would hear her in a store before I saw her. She was always someone you liked to run into. It was a pleasure knowing her.
What a beautiful pair--Marge and George, George and Marge--devoted to each other for so many years. My sympathy to George and to the children and grandchildren.

I am so sorry I can not be there but you know all of you are in my prayers. It was great seeing everyone for ( of course) the wrong reason.
She was so loved by everyone she met because she made you feel special.
Love,
Cousin Pat

Margie was one of my late mother Virginia Kotowski's best friends since 9th grade. They called themselves the Card Club, even though they stopped trying to play cards because they all talked and laughed too much to be able to play. They gathered for many decades the first Monday of the month at each other's homes. I have many, many fond memories of Margie. She had a big smile, big laugh, and a bigger heart. I'm sending you my love and support.

My family has many years of great memories with Marge, George, Wilma & their Matriarch, Aunt Anna Olexa. Every December, we would go to Aunt Anna's and have a cake and light candles and sing Happy Birthday, Jesus! Wonderful memories of family gatherings and weddings.
We have another Angel Above to watch over all of us.

Never felt so much kindness from a complete stranger as we did the first time we met. There are no words that a mother could say as to how she welcomed with open arms my daughter Melissa and my granddaughter Nichole into her family. It hurts me so to know she has passed but I know she will always be watching over Dave, Melissa, Nichole, and Connor.
Along with the rest of her loving family.
God Bless you Marge
