Danny Charles Simonton, 73, of Hurst passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at a Hurst hospital after a long battle with heart disease. He was born July 15, 1941, and graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1959. He married his high school sweetheart, Eddie Lou Huston "Happy." He was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. We have so many cherished memories and will miss his laughter, humor and love. Survivors: Happy, the love of his life; son, Terry Dan Simonton and wife, Kathy Simonton; daughter, Angel Jaynes and husband, Christopher Jaynes; four grandchildren, Kayla Jaynes, Shayla Beaty, Ashton Beaty and Hanna Williams; and great-granddaughter, Emma Jaynes.

I will never forget the visits we had, you always made me laugh and cheered me up when I was down. Looking for wildlife, going to the zoo. The smile on your face everytime you saw an animal. I will always cherish the time we spent together my dear friend. Condolences to the family
