Frank Bertrand Staton, a retired Fort Worth ISD educator, humbled himself in the presence of God on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, the Rev. Jerome G. LeDoux, S.V.D., officiating, 1001 E. Terrell St. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at historic Baker Funeral Home. Family hour: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Frank B. Staton was born July 9, 1933, in Riverside, Calif. He was a former board member of the and Fort Worth Transit Authority and a member of Knights of Peter Claver, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and many other community and church organizations. Survivors: His loving wife of 52 years, Johnnie Staton; niece, Melanie Grier; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; and many friends.
