James M. Lauderdale Obituary
James Marcus Lauderdale passed away after being born Sunday, April 6, 2014, to his grateful parents, Justin and Peyton. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations to the Janice B. Marut Scholarship Fund at St. Paul Lutheran School. An unexpected gift, his pregnancy brought his parents and sisters excitement and joy! His sister Olivia enjoyed listening to his heartbeat and talking to him while waiting for him. His sister Maren fell asleep almost every night on top of her mama's belly and James. When the time came for him, his mama labored mightily to bring him into this world and his daddy was so proud of his mama. He lived for 18 wonderful hours, during which time he was held, kissed, touched, read to, sung to, snuggled with and even butterfly-kissed. When it was time for him to go home, his mama was holding him against her chest and his daddy was kissing his back and his neck. Our hearts are both full of love for him and broken at the same time. This boy is loved. Survivors: Mama and daddy; sisters; grandparents, Lolli and Pop, Candis and Marc Lauderdale of Fort Worth, Granny and Dude, Carey and Jeff Ray of Omaha, Neb.; aunt, Jennifer and uncle, Philip Zielke and their son, Marcus, of Fort Worth; aunt, Maggie Ray of Fort Worth; uncle, James Ray of Kansas City, Mo.; great- grandparents; great-aunts; great-uncles; cousins; friends from all over Fort Worth and the world; and midwife Kaitlyn Wages loved this boy and his family more than words can say.
