Lois Mozell Tatum Obituary
Mozell Tatum passed on Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Crowley. Celebration of life: was held Monday, March 24, at Brown Cemetery in Aledo. Attending were immediate family and lifelong friends. Mozell was born June 1, 1932, to Marvin and Linda Swaim in Longview. She resided in Tarrant County and lived 46 years in Crowley. Mozell was a homemaker raising her children and sister. She then went to work at Rhythm Band from 1965-1982. Mozell grew up in the Polytechnic area where she attended elementary, junior high, and high school. She met the love of her life, Edward L. Tatum, in the seventh grade. Edward and Mozell had been married 63 years. Mozell was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Tatum, by 79 days. Survivors: Son, Bill and wife; daughter, Candy and husband; brother, Sonny Swaim; sister, Carol Brothers; grandchildren, Kevin, Shane, William; three stepgranddaughters; and great-grandsons, Chase and Reid.
