Vernon Rowe Obituary
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Friday at Stark Funeral Service Moore Memorial Chapel in Ypsilanti, Mich. Burial: Union-Udell Cemetery. Visitation: The family will greet friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Vernon was born Nov. 13, 1979, in Fort Worth. He graduated cum laude from Paschal High School in 1998 and attended Texas Christian University.
Survivors: Parents, Janice Rowe Fields of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Vernon Rowe Sr. of Hillsboro; sister, Cristie Johnson of Corbin, Ky.; nephew, Tyler Johnson; nieces, Sarah and Madison Johnson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and friends.

My whole family loved Vern so much, and he was someone I looked forward to still talking to for the rest of my life. I realize now that all the funny stories I’m always retelling somehow involve Vern. I’ll always remember hearing him tell an E.R. person that he was my brother so they would let him in, and he was the first person there with me during the worst point in my life. There really never will be another Vern, and we’re all going to miss him so much.
