James Webb, 71, surrendered to the Savior's summons Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008.
Service: The hour of homage will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Macedonia Baptist Church, the Rev. Dr. Julius Jackson Jr. gracious host and the Rev. Dr. A.E. Chew Jr. eulogistic emissary. The family will receive friends 8 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home while he rests reposefully in his black leather La-Z-Boy, while his favorite TV shows play.
Survivors: Those who remain are his wife, Alice Webb; stepdaughter, Mary Bell; sister and caretaker, Angela Graham-King (Ray); and a host of other relatives and friends.
