Today when someone lives over a hundred years its amazing, however our grand creator meant for us to live forever Ecc 3:11, that is why we have to desire for life. May the family be comforted that God will soon fullfil his promise and bring to nothing death Isaiah 25:8, then mankind will live as was intended in the begining.
Sincerely Arsie

I had a very close relationship with this wonderful lady for ten years, Her joyous spirit and beautiful, beaming smile and quick wit was a great joy to me,She was so wise and her poems spoke of that great wisdom. I met her at our church and she and her grandson Clyde became family to my husband and me. We have been honored to be called "Auntie and Uncle" by Clyde. We love them both, She will live on in our memory forever.

I didnt know this little lady either, but she looked so sweet and kind. My daughter said "Mom I bet she could cook a mean ,good southern meal " I would agree. Wish I had some of her recipes. Heaven is an even better place now that she is a member, there with the Lord and all her family that was waiting for her

I was blessed to have known such a wonderful lady. I met Mrs. Green while she was a patient of mine at a local hospital. I never forgot her and I often saw her again when she would get sick over these past few months. I remember visiting with her when President Obama was running for president and she said it would be such a joy for her to see an African American make to the presidency. When he was elected I asked her was she happy that she got to see that. She said she was. Mrs. Green also shared some of here recipes with me and a few other nurses especially her tea cake recipe. I had lost mine of my grandmother's who passed away 10 yrs ago, but Mrs. Green's were just as good! She will be greatly missed. I am glad God let me meet such a joyous and beautiful woman and so full of wisdom. She still had her mind, that was so amazingly inspiring. God bless you and yours Green family, she will be greatly missed!! My thoughts and prayers go with you

What a heritage for her grandchildren. She must have honored her parents even though she wasn't very old when they died. For the Bible says to Honor your father and mother that it may go well with you and that you may live long on the earth. What a blessing! I wish I had known her personally.
God bless each one of you grandchildren, family and friends of Mrs. Sarah Green.

To Clyde, Felicia and my mother Clara Jackson, You are in my prayers during this time. I've only know Aunt Sarah a few years, but loved her spirit, character and the wisdom she shared. She always had a smile on her face and so much positive energy.. I am glad I got a chance to know her. I will always remember her recollection of the Titanic. God bless you!
