Travis Sherrod Obituary
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in W.W. Rix Chapel in Lubbock with Joe W. Burks officiating.
Mr. Sherrod was a Lubbock native. He was married to Kathy Fox Wilson in Las Vegas, Nev., on March 5, 1992. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served as a police officer in Bowie. He was a lover of the outdoors, especially camping, and loved his his family and many friends.
His parents, T.J. and Minnie Sherrod and a sister, Nancy Sherrod, preceded him in death.
Survivors: His wife, Kathy; daughter, Tammy Wilson of Lubbock; son, Cody Sherrod of Hurst; sister, Linda Schroeder of Bedford; his special angel, Chelsea J.; and very special people, Melissa Murrah of Bedford and Chris, Hannah and Hunter Cockerell of Lubbock.
