I worked with and for Rachael for three years at Tex Tan, just the three of us, Rachael, Ben Herman and me. What a crew. She was the ultimate friend and teacher. We exchanged many birthday and Christmas cards until only a few years ago. I will always miss her.

I think I first met Rachael in 1966 when I was still in college, and decided I wanted to work for her some day. In 1971 I responded to an ad she ran for an advertising job with Bona Allen(Tandy). She tried me out for 2 weeks, and I stayed 3 yrs. during which
she mentored and trained me in catalog production but more importantly in working with people..the best boss I ever had and a dear friend who I loved to visit after we both moved on to different jobs..She found our first house for us in Meadowbrook..near her..where we lived for 20 yrs..She influenced my life in so many ways, and I've always been so grateful for that..Such a giving, caring person, and truly one-of-a-kind. My sympathies to all of her family.
