Harold Thomas Cluck Obituary
Harold Thomas Cluck, 90, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, after a brief illness. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet. Harold was born in Fort Worth on Nov. 18, 1924, to Melvin Thomas and Alma Mae Cluck. Harold graduated from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth. He served in the U.S. Navy throughout World War II attached to a carrier aircraft unit. After the war's end, he served for 12 years as a Fort Worth police officer. After completing a number of schools of financial management, he obtained a National Association of Security Dealers license and went into business for himself in association with Lincoln Financial Corp. dealing in stocks, money market, bonds and fixed interest accounts; he remained in that capacity for 33 years until his retirement. He was a longtime Shriner. Survivors: Wife, Mardelle; daughters, Sherry Y. Smith and husband, Jack, of Holliday, Melodi G. Leach and husband, Larry, of Crowley; stepson, Carey L. McKinney and wife, Ellen, of Plano; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Louise "LaLa" Cooper of Granbury.
