Dolphy was a dear friend at U Hi, and I so regret that we lost touch. I loved him as dearly as a brother. Wish I had the chance to tell him so. Very sad, and condolences, even this belated, to all his loved ones.

To all of "Deano's" family we wish you peace and joy in all of the great memories of his life. We spent many years playing slow pitch softball together representing University Hospitals in the Columbus Hospital League. Always a stellar teammate!

Had the pleasure of working with "DEAN" at OSU Hospital in the mid sixties. He was a great mentor, and a friend during that time. To the family: My thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this difficult time. God bless !!

He was the "gentle giant," I really loved that guy. I always wished we had lived closer, I wanted to pal around more with Dolf. I didn't even realize he was ill.
