McCreary Arthur C. "Bud" McCreary, age 81, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his home after a battle with cancer. Born September 15, 1935 in Youngstown, OH to the late Earl and Edith McCreary. As a younger man, he played in the Pittsburgh Pirate's organization. Bud was heavily involved in Little League coaching for more than 20 years. He was a founding member of the Boardman Little Spartans football organization, a member of the Boardman High School Boosters, as well as a member of the Boardman High School Athletic Hall of Fame. As a hobby, Bud enjoyed golfing and was an avid OSU Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by parents and sister Judy McCrone of Poland, OH. Survived by wife of 58 years, Judy; children, Kevin (Debby) McCreary, Brian (Kim) McCreary, and Kelly Willis; grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Amelia, Evan, Trey, Maggie, Megan, and Nathan; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any Hospice of your choice. Friends may call Monday, April 17, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH. Pastor Dennis George officiating.
