I, too, only knew Barbara on-line and she blessed me every time I read one of her blogs and stories of her childhood and growing up in Ohio. She was so special and had such a wonderful outlook on life. The Lord really blessed her with writing abilities and touching people's lives. My life has been enriched by knowing her and talking back and forth thru emails. So happy our lives touched.......

She had such a keen mind and was able to share so many memories while connecting with current events. Special thanks to her Columbus friends for being there for her.

I so much enjoyed reading Barbara's stories online although I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person. I admired her kind and generous spirit in the face of the many health challenges she bravely faced. May she rest in a blissful, painfree peace. Sending my sympathy to her family and friends.

As a fellow member of the Lipedema world, I looked forward to reading her poignant writings about her life in the nursing home.. She was a beautiful storyteller. Her ability to bring you into the experience was amazing. I often reread, with tears, her journaling and memoirs. I am grateful that I was allowed to experience her stories, which have impacted my soul. Bless her.
