Sandra and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. When I reflect on the many years our lives crossed path in High School, Oxford Road, Woodhill Dr, Annehurst Village and Ryan Home Trips it doesn't seem that long ago. Donnie was the coolest guy in elementary, Jr. High and High School, He was cool before the Fonz was cool. Hey!

In the past couple of years, I was so touched by Don's tender care for Carol while she recovered from her surgery. He was devoted to her and his children and grandchildren. Oh, the amazing things he is experiencing now in the presence of his Lord and Savior! I will miss your warm greetings at church.

We love you, Don ~ you gave us so many special times and sweet memories. Convertible rides that created Carol's famous 'parade wave', your love for music, OSU football, visits to the Lake house, and our very own outdoor gourmet chef with his very own personalized tongs. He called Bill 'Dad'. This is a message from Bill _ "I'll miss seeing my son here but look forward to hearing the music with him again in the Kingdom. Go rest high, my friend." Love to all of you, Bill and Claudia

In a high school class of 100s Donnie and I were never in the same classes nor even had the same friends, but what a joy to know we will meet later as Brothers in Christ!

We go back a long time together Donnie....we generated many great memories growing up from the days at the Devon Rd. pool, to hours of riding out bikes around old UA, and listening endlessly to Big Bands, etc: You will surely be missed by many. My deepest condolences to Carol who I knew as a young girl and to Donnie's kids.

DON...What a wonderful friend...our very favorite! We will always remember him as a hard worker..an artist..photographer..BIG FAN of OSU...dancing with his wife,LOVED and cared for all of his family.Everyone who knew him would know his funny jokes and lots of laughter. Don was a very wise man and the BEST of his life was a change as he became a devoted lover of Jesus Christ as his Savior!
