Gary Leonard Streeter, 73, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018. He was born May 3, 1944 in Saint Johns, Michigan to the late Leonard and Gwenlyn (Griffith) Streeter. He was a retired Columbus police officer who served his community for over 20 years. Gary's family was very important to him. He enjoyed getting together for family meals and going to his grandchildren's events. After retiring from the police department, he worked for Family Medical Pharmacy for several years. Gary was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and Grove City Elks Lodge #37. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Nicki; children, Pam (Greg) Dotter, Jim (Jennifer) Streeter, Tim (Angella) Streeter, Angela (Jake) Ruff, Gary (Christine) Streeter, Jr., Lisa Hosterman, and Beth (Travis) Kent; 14 grandchildren; sister, Vickie (John) Brubaker; brother, Doug (Sharon) Streeter; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2213 White Rd., Grove City, Ohio. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
