Carpe Diem may have been her motto on life, but I'd always considered her a friend and mentor. I would not be where I am today if I had not met or worked with Marcia at Benchmark.
Her many sayings have stuck with me these many years, sayings such as:
Never underestimate the power of Donuts when holding a meeting.
The world would be boring if we were all the same
For many years I have looked forward to her publication; The Power of Positive Procrastination however I think that one may be past due.
I was grateful to call her a friend and mentor, I was most happy when she was able to meet my son, telling me he was glorious.
I've missed your counsel Marcia, and I will miss you very much. Peace be with you.

My sincere condolences. When someone you love becomes a memory, they become a treasure in your heart forever. May your treasured memories fill your heart with love & bring you peace. May the words of 1 Thessalonians 4:14 give you comfort and hope.
