Mary Fregonas, age 92, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Columbus Alzheimer Care Center. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Florindo, daughter Susan Lobmiller, brothers Sam and John Oliver, sisters Lisa (Philip) Pagura and Norma (Harry) Young, brothers-in-law Pete (Mary) Fregonas and Tony (Italia) Fregonas, sister-in-law Ada (John) Pusateri. Survived by her children, John (Nellie) Fregonas, Diana (Joe) Dreher and Anita (Tim) Hinton; grandchildren, Otis Dreher, Fred (Kristin) Dreher, Matt Dreher, Chris Hinton, Stacy Hinton, Amy Lobmiller, Tracey Keene and Corey Geeper; great-grandchildren, Braden Schwarzwalder, Devin and Chase Dreher. Mary was a lifelong member of St. James the Less Catholic Church; worked for many years with Ingersol-Rand and retired from Whetstone High School. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 3-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Family and friends are asked to meet on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. for her funeral Mass at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Avenue, Columbus. Burial to follow, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Mary to the Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH (43215).
