Mary S. Sheldon, age 95, Monday, December 4, 2017. She was born and raised in Alabama and came to Columbus in 1963. She was a member of Fairmoor Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. Also, a member of Beacon Chapter #593 OES and Mobile, AL Chapter #348 OES. While in Alabama she worked for the railroad and retired from Borden in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by husband Howard H. Sheldon, Sr., siblings Mitchell, Fred and Adele, god daughter Naomi. Survived by daughter, Mary (Philip) Martin; son, Howie Sheldon; grandchildren, Whitney (Karle), Jessica, Sara, Nathan and Kennedy; 5 great grandchildren; god children, Yvonne (Wadie) and Namy; other loving family and friends. Friends may call Sunday 2-5 PM, EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave. A Witness to the Resurrection will be held Monday 11 AM, Fairmoor Presbyterian Church, 360 S. James Road. Rev. Patricia Moats officiating. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairmoor Presbyterian Church. www.evansfuneralhome.net

The girls and i have such fond memories of sitting and swinging with Mary in the front yard. She was a lovely neighbor and a lovely woman. She will be missed.
