Loved ones ~
I am just hearing of Goldie's passing and it is with a saddened heart that I send my condolences to her loved ones.
Oddly enough, I was thinking of Goldie just this week. In the most simplest way we think of friends we've met along life's road, and I was reminded of her when I heard someone "cracking their gum". I remember listening to her crack her gum and would often ask "teach me how to do that". I smile even now as I write down this memory, and I will say that as I continue through life's journey I will always smile and think of your lovely Goldie when I hear someone "cracking their gum".
Rest in peace my friend.

mike, candee, sherry,and dink you all have my deepest sympathy on the death of your mom. I know how important she was in your life and your care and support during these last few days, years must have brought her great comfort. Your relationship was quite special and while this makes the loss so very painful, I do believe that your closeness and warm memories will bring you comfort. Know that I am thinking of you and your mom.

mamaw i love you very much and i know i was only around for a few years but you was like a grandma to me. i am glad that your outta pain now and no longer suffering, your in a better place now and i know you will be tooken care of up there. this is very hard on everyone but we know you want us to remain strong threw everything. and were trying.

Life is too short and my aunt Goldie was taken too soon. I know she is in a better place now but that doesn't make it hurt any less. She was a great aunt and friend to me all my life. I spent many days sitting in a booth at her work just to talk. I will always love her and never forget her.

You kids have been through so much in the last 6 months, not only losing one parent but both. My heart goes out to you, both your Mom and Dad were wonderful people... I loved them so much!! I could always count on a Christmas card from your Mom at Christmas time..telling me she loved me!! I am so sorry for your loss!! I hope good memories once again get you through this sad time!! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!!
