Gerry, Shannon, Steve, and to Pat's entire family~
My most heartfelt condolences to all of you. I am in heavyhearted disbelief. I worked with Pat at 580 S. High for over five years. She and I would talk in the mornings while getting coffee, and I have heard about all of you (including extended family).
Saying I enjoyed working with Pat for those years is an understatement. She was caring, very considerate, funny, and I loved how she would encourage others to adopt ways that would be helpful or better for them—whether at work or in life. Pat was so vibrant and lively! I smile thinking about all the bags she carried to and from work every day. She never let them weigh her down; she still walked with such gusto and purpose. I also have to mention Pat’s way of thinking...it was often quite progressive and far younger than her years in the most positive way.
For anyone who may recall this gesture and smile, I mention the deliberate way she would push up her glasses for some people, to jokingly make a point. It always made me laugh.
Pat indeed relished all her roles in her family—it was apparent even to outsiders how much she especially thrived on and cherished her roles as a mother, wife, and Nannie.
I hope you all will be comforted by your wonderful memories of Pat.
I will truly miss her.

I had the pleasure of knowing Pat through her work. I work for the company that did the phones for both lawyers Pat worked for. She would call us and start support tickets- she was one of our favorite clients! She was just the sweetest person and so incredibly nice. I talked to her about a week ago, she wanted to update the auto attendant for the law office. She was going to do it but was very busy so I said I could do it. We were on the phone going over what it should say and after hearing her talk- I said Pat you have to record this - you have an amazing voice, I could never sound as great as you. She laughed her great laugh- I can still hear it.
I’m so sorry for you loss- Pat was a wonderful person.
