Agostino "Gus" Joseph Raggio, 82, of McCordsville, IN, passed away August 2. 20)7. He was born August 17, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late Agostino and Maria (Marre) Raggio. Gus proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement he was employed as a magazine and book distributor for various wholesale firms. Gus was a member of the ltalian Heritage Society of Indiana and belonged to St Simon Catholic Church at Geist and was a devoted member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington, OH. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, OH. Gus is survived by his son, Michael Raggio; daughter, Janet Drake (David); daughter-in-Iaw, Bridget Raggio; grandchildren, Colin and Anna Drake, Gianna Rude (Matt). Marisa Raggio. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce Vouri Raggio and son Phillip Raggio. Memorial contributions may be made to the National LeioMyoSarcoma Foundation, 18623 County Road 12 South, Foley, AL, 36535.
