Aloma K. Reston

1946 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
Reston Aloma K. Reston, 70, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on March 10, 2017. Aloma was born in Columbus, Ohio and has resided in Jacksonville for the past 28 years. Aloma's professional career included working at Wendy's International Corporate Offices and the City of Westerville while living in Columbus. She spent the majority of her professional career in Jacksonville working for Swisher International. Aloma was one of a kind and was always the life of the party. She was an ageless beauty who will be remembered for her infectious smile and sarcastic wit. Aloma always enjoyed her plants, music, and spending time with her cat Paxton. She was an avid sports fan and loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Jacksonville Jaguars. She treasured catching up with her old friends and never missed her Brookhaven High School reunions. She will be missed dearly by her many friends, family, co-workers and her furry friends both in Columbus and Jacksonville. Aloma was predeceased by her parents Elaine and Robert Duppy. She is survived by her daughters, Krista Folk and Kelley Folk (partner, Deb Mackery); brother, Joseph Duppy; and sister, Susan Rea; as well as her dear friend, Helen Sue Erler; and sister-in-law, Andy Williams. She is our angel in heaven. If you wish, in lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to the Jacksonville Humane Society at www.jaxhumane.org. Arrangements entrusted to HARDAGE GIDDENS, 729 S. Edgewood Ave., Jacksonville, Fl 32205, where the family will receive guests for a visitation March 17 at 3 p.m. and a memorial service at 4 p.m.
