Obituary Condolences

Nutter Amelia (Mauiri) Nutter, a long-time resident of Westerville, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at Mt. Carmel St. Anns. Born on July 30, 1931, in Montgomery, West Virginia. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1949, where she was a clarinet player in the marching band, the local jitterbug dance champion, and a guest singer on the local radio station. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Dr. William E. Nutter. They were truly soul mates and remained inseparable, even in her final hour. Also surviving are brothers, Louis (Jessie) and Michael (Kathy) Maiuri, and sister Patricia Lalla; her three children, Rod (Dee) Nutter, Garth (Debra) Nutter, and Nancy (Woody) DeWeese; grandchildren, Corynn (Scott), Austin (Samantha), Keith, Alex, Mia, Chase, John Michael, Luke; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Giavanna, and Annabella. She is preceded in death by her parents Giosafatte and Miranda Maiuri, brother Joe Jr. (Barbara), sister Marguerite (Joe), and her beloved Aunt Esther. An avid lover of people, music, modern art, Italian cooking, her Ohio State Buckeyes, and more than anything, her family, who will miss her unconditional love and magical, unbreakable spirit everyday.
