Amey B. Harper, age 99, passed away on November 28, 2017. She was born on October 24, 1918 to the late William and Zete Raduege. She was a graduate of Groveport High School and attended Dickerson Business College. Amey retired from Elston Richards Storage Co. She was a very independent woman who never wanted to depend on others. Amey was active in many organizations throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and playing golf. Preceded in death by her sister Velma Raduege, brothers Vernon Raduege and Elmer Raduege. Amey is survived by her daughter and best friend, Patty (George) Mingus. A special thank you to Dr. Dana Houser, Dr. Douglas Finnie, Dr. Porcu and Christopher Baran, CNP, PhD for the wonderful care they provided over the years. Friends may visit 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Groveport Zion Lutheran Church, 6014 Groveport Rd., Groveport, Ohio 43125 with Pastor Matthew Cox officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Amey's memory to Groveport Zion Lutheran Church or Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43231.
