Ann Davis Hentz Obituary
Hentz, Ann Davis
1930 - 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Marion Davis Hentz announces the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and friend on Feb 23, 2018 at the age of 88. Ann was employed by the Pontifical College Josephinum for over 20 years and loved her time there and the many Priests and friends she made as an Accountant for the College. Ann loved her crafts from making candles and then learning how to blow glass. She also loved making stained glass creations and creating stained glass cement stepping stones. Ann wrote and self published a family cook book that is used by all. Ann attended Hillsdale College and graduated with a degree in Home Economics and later achieved an Accounting Degree. She loved throwing a great party. Our Christmas and Easter celebrations will be a great forever memory of her. Ann was preceded in death by an infant son Bruce, a brother Donald, her mother Irma Diest Davis and father Lawrence Davis. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, John Thomas Hentz; and children, Beth (Robert) Parsons, David Holtom, Linda(Mark) Bryant, Andrew (Michele) Holtom, and Rick Hentz; she was also Grandma to 20 grandchildren, Jennifer (Tony) Bilderback, Brian (Ginger) Parsons, Sarah (Ed) French, David Holtom Jr, Kelly (Josh) Stroud, Michael (Jessica) Lyon, Andrea (Chris) Kavalieros, Alison (Steven) Hughes, Andrew Bryant, Bethany Bryant, Josh (Candy) Bryant, Nick (Jenna) Holtom, Alex Holtom, Joe Holtom, Christine Hentz, David Hentz, Nicole Hentz, Sarah Hentz, Rachel (Chris) D'Orsi, Jake Hentz and Alex Hentz; and Great Grandma to 17 1/2 (one is on the way), Austin, Hannah, and Lacey Bilderback, Jared Parsons, Morgan and Colton French, Taya Haile, Jordan and Josh Stroud Jr, Natalie Lyon, Lincoln Kavalieros, Blaise D'Orsi.
