Anna Mae Lawless Obituary
Lawless Anna Mae Lawless, 83, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 3, 1933 in Harrisburg, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary (Fast) Wilkins. Anna retired with 30 years of service from Pickaway Correctional Institution. She enjoyed long shopping trips and traveling around the world. When she was younger, Anna and her husband, Dick could be found on a Friday night square dancing or dancing the jitterbug. Family was very important to her and she cherished her time that she had with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years William Richard "Dick" Lawless, daughter Joy Lynne Lawless-Carpenter, sister Rose Holly, and best friend from childhood Betty Harness. Anna is survived by daughters, Mindy Lawless Sword and Roxann Lawless; grandson, Jared Richard (Dawn) Sword; granddaughter, Anna Janel Carpenter; great-grandson, Caleb Andreen; brother, Henry Wilkins; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where the funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday.
