Obituary Condolences

Cervi Cesidio "Joe" Cervi, age 66, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday April 1, 2017. Cesidio was born in Alvito, Italy on August 31, 1950. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1968 with his parents. Retired owner of C & M Masonry and one of the four founding members and owners of Clover Valley Golf Club. Preceded in death by his parents Mariano and Valeria Cervi. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Carolina; son, Loreto Cervi; daughters, Maria (Marco) Capoccia and Joanna Cervi; granddaughters, Nina and Lisa Capoccia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Giacomo and Giacomina D' Eramo; and brothers-in-law, Mario D'Eramo and Loreto D'Eramo; and many cousins here and in Italy. Cesidio will be remembered as a hardworking loving husband, father and grandfather who always had a smile for everyone. He enjoyed bowling and playing Italian card games, but his true passion was the outdoors. He loved gardening, hunting and golfing. He also enjoyed making wine and limoncello to share with family and friends. Cesidio will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We would like to thank the doctors and staff at The Zangmeister Cancer Center, The James Cancer Center and Mt. Carmel Hospice for all their wonderful care. Donations may be made to these health care centers in Cesidio's memory. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 6, at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High Street, from 4-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 7, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4383 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. Fr.
