Chester A. Sharp, Sr. "Chet", May 17, 1928 - Sept. 22, 2017. Preceded in death by his loving wife Dora P. (Covan) Sharp. Former U.S. Marine with two tours of service at the end of WWII and again during the Korean Conflict. REALTOR for 35 years; Broker owner of ACT Realty. Enjoyed being a member of the Aladdin Shrine Foot Patrol and loved watching Drum & Bugle corps competitions. Achieved 32nd Degree Mason, was a Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star in the Groveport Chapter. Past Baseball Coach for Whitehall Boys Baseball and coached the 1966 Major League Champs of the WBBA. Loved to play softball until he was 55 years old. Active within the CB community known as "Chet the Jet". Loved traveling with his wife in his RV and piloting his small Cessna airplane. Survived by children, Teddi Sharp, Cricket (and Tom) Such, Chet (and Susan) Sharp, Jr, Allen (and Laura) Sharp, and Timothy Patrick Sharp; grandchildren, Adrienne Sharp, Molly-lynn (and Travis) Dale, Zackery (and Ashley) Sharp, Brook Sharp, Cassandra Sharp, Trentin Sharp, and Serena Sharp; great grandchildren, Landon, Lylah, Ava, Grayson, and Breckin; and many nieces and nephews. A "Celebration of Life" to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to donate to The and/or Hospice of Central Ohio in his memory.
