Clark P. Breading, age 85, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on March 26, 1932 in Uniontown, PA. A 1950 graduate of Uniontown High School, Clark obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Metallurgy from Penn State in 1954. There he was a member of Alpha Chi Sigma and participated in Air Force ROTC. He served as 1st Lt. in the U.S.A.F. Clark married Patricia Lathrop in 1955 and moved to McKeesport, PA. They had three children. Clark spent his career at U. S. Steel where he became Plant Manager of the ERW Mill and later became Plant Manager at Camp Hill Corporation in McKeesport. After retiring, they moved to Dublin, OH, became members of Jerome United Methodist Church, and were very active in the Dublin Community Senior Citizens organization. Clark was a Civil War buff who liked gardening and working in the yard. He was a lifelong fan of Penn State and Steelers football. He also enjoyed golf and travel, and loved having his family gather at their home. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Mitchell and Emma Jane (Pickett) Breading. Survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Lathrop) Breading; children, Mark (Deanna) Breading of Powell, Daniel (Janene) Breading of Carmel, IN, Barbara (Randall) Witt of Hilliard; grandchildren, Lauren (Jacob) Weber, Justin (Kristin) Breading, Lynn (Wes) Black, Allison (Nathan) Klein, Amy (Dylan) Quinn, Katherine Breading, Abby Witt; great-grandchildren, Caleb Paul Weber, with two on the way; brother, Robert Breading of Philadelphia, PA. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St., (St. Rt. 161W), Plain City. The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 with visitation prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the Jerome United Methodist Church, 10531 Jerome Rd., Plain City.
