Nocera Danna L. Nocera, 68, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away on May 14, 2017 peacefully in Blacklick, Ohio. Danna was born April 19, 1949, to the late Ida and John Zofchak in Steubenville, Ohio. She attended Big Red High School. Danna married Dominic Nocera on August 27, 1969. She was a dedicated employee of Wal-Mart for 15 years. Danna enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and reading. Her favorite author was Stephen King. Danna is survived by husband, Dominic Nocera Jr.; daughter, Michelle (Michael) Smith; son, Dominic Nocera III; daughter, Marsha (Christian) Vockell; daughter, Brandi Nocera; grandchildren, Nicolette and Michael Smith, Stephen and Autumn Rose, and Kyan and Addyson Nocera; siblings, Mary Alice, Katherine, Veronica, and John. Rosary and visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. TUESDAY, May 23, 2017 at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, where her service will be held on Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Msgr. Funk officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. The family of Danna wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at The Ohio State University James Medical Center, Dr. Stephen Tanzer, and the Mt. Carmel Hospice organization.
