Messerschmitt David James Messerschmitt, died on February 10, 2015, at the age of 30 years in Washington DC, suddenly and unexpectedly. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 24, 1984. David graduated from Anderson High School with honors and was drum major in the marching band. He also graduated with honors from The Ohio State University, majoring in history. David rowed for the Ohio State Crew team, with some of his closest friends. In 2012, David married Kim, his love and best friend. David enjoyed running, cooking, traveling, and Graeter's ice cream. David graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law before going to work for Mayer Brown and DLA Piper, focusing on intellectual property law. David was remembered by his colleagues as a brilliant lawyer with a very bright career ahead. David is survived by his beautiful wife, Kim Vuong of Washington, DC; his parents, Marvin and Gayle Messerschmitt of Batavia, OH; his brothers, Patrick Messerschmitt (Jessica) of Hopewell Junction, NY and Adam Messerschmitt (Meredith) of New York, NY; his little nieces and nephews, Marin, Grady, Ayla, and Hunter; his in-laws, Le and Fat Vuong of Orlando, FL; his brothers-in-law, Tom, Tuan, and Alvin; his sisters-in-law, Jenny, Cristina, and Amanda. Memorial service at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH, on Saturday, February 21 at 11 a.m. Friends may visit at the Church on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. Arrangements provided by T.P. WHITE & SONS Funeral Home.
