Gorsuch, Dorothy
Dorothy "Ann" Gorsuch, 86, of Johnstown, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born June 16, 1931 in Appleton, Ohio and graduated as Valedictorian in the Class of 1949 from Johnstown High School. She loved being outdoors mowing her yard and gardening. With a teacher's heart, she enjoyed working with special needs children for Johnstown Schools, Northridge Schools, and Licking County Educational Service Center. She sewed puppets for WBNS TV Channel 10 "Luci's Toyshop." She is survived by two daughters and three sons, Martha (David) Martin and Leah Gorsuch of Johnstown; William (Teresa) Gorsuch of Centerburg; James (Kathleen) Gorsuch of Sunbury; Mark (Christina) Gorsuch of Johnstown; and daughter-in-law Ileda Marshall, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Leah Vae (Shipp) Davis, husband Robert Hill Gorsuch, sister Wilda Montgomery, brothers Robert, Harold, and Howard Davis, son Steven Lee Gorsuch, granddaughter Rebekah Anne Gorsuch and grandson, William Jonathan Gorsuch. A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at New Bethel Christian Union Church in Croton, Ohio with viewing at 9:30 a.m. followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. A burial service will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, Ohio. Contributions may be made to Galilean Children's Home: 712 S. Fork Church Road, Liberty, Kentucky, 42539. Arrangements under the direction of Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, Johnstown, Ohio.
