Elizabeth "Betty" Hagemeyer Crook, age 90, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. She was born October 15, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Bartlett and Margaret Hagemeyer. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Richard (Helen) Hagemeyer. Betty graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University, where she was a Chi Omega. Betty loved to quilt, golf, swim and bowl. She was considered a professional volunteer by many. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America for over 60 years; she was a Covenant Presbyterian Deacon and part of the Covenant Presbyterian women's association. Betty was a Super Grammy to her 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Robert V. Crook; children, Charles (Molly) Crook, Margaret (Don) Grigorenko and Karl (Randi) Crook; brother, Bartlett (Kate) Hagemeyer Jr. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2070 Ridgecliff Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. A luncheon will immediately follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Residents Benevolent Fund, Friendship Village of Dublin, 6000 Riverside Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 or Covenant Presbyterian Church.
