Estelle Louise Houchins Obituary
Houchins Estelle Louise Houchins, daughter of the late Felix L. and Jessie E. Jones was born in Dallas, Texas on March 1, 1939. She passed away at her home on Friday, May 12, 2017. Estelle was a dedicated and loving wife, mother,and grandmother who enjoyed fishing, living life and being with her family. She was a retired nurse of Oakfield Convalecence Center, Children's Hospital, and The Ohio State University Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Philip W Houchins, Sr., sister-in-law Mary Lundy, brothers-in-law Wright Collins, John W. Houchins, Elvin Davenport, John Russell Arnold, and John Lundy, Sr. She is survived by her children, Terri (Anthony) Mitchell of Miami, Florida; Philip Jr., Patrick (Davina), and Brian (Robyn) of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Sylvia Collins and Zephyr (Dennis) Sweeney of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Lauren and Adam Houchins, Olivia (Stephane) Manuel and Aaron Mitchell, Kyle, Mariah, Zechariah, Patrick David, Payton, and Paul Houchins, and Noah and Kennedy Houchins; seven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Minnie Davenport, Margaret Arnold, Charlotte Houchins of Columbus, Ohio and Betty Lundy of Cleveland, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Paul Houchins of Wooster, Ohio, Andrew Houchins of Roanoke, Virginia, and Dr. W. Larry Lundy of Dallas, Texas; her friend, Mrs. Ann Preston of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Service to be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at EVANS FUNERAL HOME. 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where friends may call from 1 p.m. until the start of service.
