Obituary Condolences

Holt Faith Margaret (Hartley) Holt, died at the age of 97, on Friday afternoon, March 10, 2017, at the Health Center at Wesley Glen after a life-long battle with respiratory illness. Faith was born on December 25, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of North High School, she later attended business college. She was a long-standing resident of Clintonville and, more recently, a resident of the Wesley Glen Retirement Community. During her long life, Faith enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was an animal lover, an avid reader and book lover, a fan of the Ohio State University (OSU) Buckeyes, and an exemplary role-model for her daughter. Faith is survived by her daughter, Dr. Susan Lynne Holt of Los Angeles, California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years and high school sweetheart, Robert Charles Holt, her parents Ross E. Hartley and Barbara (Keller) Hartley and her brother Wayne Hartley. She will be deeply missed and remembered with profound love and affection. A graveside service will take place on Monday, March 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Faith can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). www.rutherfordfuneralhome.com
