Floyd C. Cross, 79, of Reynoldsburg, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2017. Floyd was a lifelong resident of Reynoldsburg. He was a former meat cutter who owned the Chop-In-Block meat market. He retired from Big Bear as a meat man. Floyd was a past worship master of Reynoldsburg Lodge #340, Past Worthy Patron of Eugenie Chapter #507 and Past Associate Guardian of Bethel 64 of the Jobs Daughters. Preceded in death by wife Gloria Sue Cross. Survived by daughter, Connie (John H.) Cross Houser; son, John (Wendy) Cross; grandchildren, Zach, Karolyn, Everett, Joey, Blake, Brittany, and Ryan; brother, Richard Van Dette and his family; brother-in-law, Mike Motz and his family; many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, from 6-8pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where a masonic service will be held at 5:45pm.
