Gail Marie Thibaut Hirn, age 68, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on December 13, 2017. St. Mary graduate and valedictorian from the class of 1968. Lifelong member of St. Mary Church. Gail volunteered her time with many charity organizations but was happiest in her garden. Preceded in death by parents Bea and Henry Thibaut Sr., brother Mike Thibaut, sister Mary "Toots" White, brothers-in-law Bill Cox and Don Hirn, sister-in-law Dian Thibaut, father-in-law William E Hirn Sr., nephews Mark Russell and Steve Thibaut. Survived by loving and devoted husband of 44 years, William E. "Chip" Hirn Jr.; son, William E. "Chip" Hirn III and partner, Katja Summar; daughter, Katie (Matt) Falk; grandchildren, Cpl. Devin (Samantha) Hirn, USMC, Will, Abby and Max Hirn; Jordan, Elijah and Emma Falk; brothers, Wayne (Janet) Thibaut, Larry (Wanda) Thibaut, Don Thibaut, Jerry Thibaut and Hank (Tess) Thibaut; sisters Patty Cox, Barb Faherty, Margy (Harry) Timmons, Linda (Keith) Russell; mother-in-law, Margaret Ann Hirn; sister-in-law, Debbie (Mike) Segna; dear friend, Mary Kay Weed; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday 3-7pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 High Street, Rosary 7pm. Solemn Requiem High Mass Monday 10:30am, St. Leo Catholic Church, 221 Hanford St. Father Kevin Lutz Celebrant. Entombment to follow at St Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.
